The bulb is completely hidden and protected by the fixture. A little larger than I expected but our lights are on the house and not mounted on the eaves as they were before our remodel.

Mad in Maryland
MarkL from Bowie, MD
I am disappointed in a design aspect of the light. Each light is adjustable in two directions, sort of. The problem is one of the adjustments, IS INSIDE THE HOUSING, and therefore must be at the right angle before installation, with no way to modify it after. How can I be expected to choose the right installation of a spot light PRIOR to it being installed? It is also difficult to get a wrench on the nut and the nut is not a strong enough piece of hardware to be tightened properly to hold the relatively heavy lamp at the right angle. The light is too much weight at a distance (torque) on that poor poor nut.
