Sea Gull Lighting Hermitage Outdoor Hanging Lantern in Antique Bronze - Energy Star - 69191PBLE-71

We got this light to replace our front porch lantern. It uses a florescent bulb which is good for energy savings (the light stays on all night and doesn't need a dimmer, so it's a good candidate for a cfl). The bulb that came with it burned out quickly, but I got a new one that has lasted through a cold New England winter. The bulb is not a screw-in type, so the selection is not as good (not as common), but they do sell them at the big box stores. I thought the light would taper out slightly, but it's perfectly straight. That's fine - it looks good. The diffusing glass is plastic, but it works. Also, the bottom of the light is open, but the bulb is high enough that you don't really notice it. Overall, it's a good light.
