Our daughter has been requesting science kits so we decided to give this one a try. She was very excited to recieve it and begin the experiments. What is nice about the kit is not only is it entertaining for the oldest sibling, her younger siblings can join in. A great multi level science experiment play. Great for letting the kids play "mad scientist" and learn more about germs/bacteria. Very happy with this kit and will be buying more once it has been used up."..."  Read more

I just have to start with: WE LOVED IT! My girls played probably ten rounds in the first couple of hours that I had the game out. It took them a little bit to get on to the concept as they'd never really played a game like this before. A little more about the game: There are four categories of animals (mammals, amphibians, reptiles and insects) and 2 x 20 of each animal. On the back of each card is some very brief information about where they live, what they eat, what color they are, their size. This information helps in asking questions to determine the other player's MVP (most valuable player). So, dd8 would start by asking a question like, "Is your mammal large?" dd7 would respond with, "No." dd8 would then take any large animal's card and drop it through the slot at the top of her stadium. Then dd7 would take a turn. After a few questions back and forth, one of the girls would only have the MVP card on their stadium and would be the winner of that round. By the time they stopped playing, their questions were getting more sophisticated. They weren't left to their own devises though. We had an adult friend visiting at the time too, and he got in on the action and so did their dad! It's a great game."..."  Read more

We got this product to help teach our kids how to read an analog clock, because it has all the numbers and a line for each minute. The assembly was of great interest to our 5 year old, and it took about 30 minutes to complete. He also loves to wind the clock, and we love that there are no batteries to worry about replacing! The only downsides to this clock are that it does need to be wound regularly (daily), and that the pendulum makes a rather loud "tick-tock". So, it is definitely more of a teaching tool/art/entertainment than a reliable wall/bedroom clock."..."  Read more

We picked this item to review because I knew the kids could use it for our homeschool science class. For the price, it is really a decent microscope. My kids favorite thing and the way they have used it the most is the telescope. They have looked at the stars nearly every night (when the clouds cleared. The problem I have had with other inexpensive microscopes is that the focus was usually off. This one is better than most. It is easy to focus even for the kids. I received this at no cost in exchange for this honest review."..."  Read more
