He loves music and making noise, so it's a great combination for him. I wasn't sure what the piano would sound like before it arrived. It has a "toy" sound to it, so don't expect it to sound like a real piano. The craftsmanship is BEAUTIFUL...it's going to last a long time! It's the kind of toy you buy your child for them to keep and share with their own children. It's a keepsake toy, not a piece of plastic you are going to sell at a yard sale in a couple years. His mommy says he almost needs to be pried from it for meals and bedtime, and is not excited about sharing it with his parents. He looks like a little maestro as he experiments with the keys. It was a perfect choice! I've not seen nor heard it in person - only in video and over the phone, but its wonderful tone is reminiscent of the high quality toy piano we had when I was a child.
