Band Saw: Band Saws can make both curved and straight lines. They come in either a portable or a floor- standing model.

Chop Saw/Cut-Off Saw: The chop also called a cut off saw has a circular blade. The blade attaches to a mobile arm and extends downward. It only cuts up and down.

Circular Saw: Great for straight cuts including cross or angle cuts. Most versatile power saw. Either right or left handed depending on the side the motor is on.

Jamb Saw: Easy hand held grip for maximum control. Ideal for cutting inside corners, and for undercutting wood.

Jig Saw: Thin blade is ideal for creating customs shapes and stenciled designs usually into wood.

Miter Saw: This saw resembles a chop saw however instead of only cutting up and down it, it can cut at angles. A sliding plate nested in base allows arm to swing and stop at precise angles.

Reciprocating Saw: Great for cutting through lumber, drywall, pipes, vinyl and aluminum sliding. Cuts through by a push-and-pull motion of the blade.

Table/Bridge Saw: Features a large, flat work area and a circular blade. Makes straight and precise cuts.

Tile Saw/Masonry Saw: Makes cuts either through tile or masonry. These saws can either use wet blades or dry blades.

Scroll Saw A narrow-bladed saw for cutting decorative spiral lines or patterns. It is small and is electric or pedal-operated. This saw is useful for cutting intricate and detailed curves in cases where a jigsaw or coping saw is not appropriate.
