PERFECT! LOVE IT!! FIT MY NEEDS!!! THANK YOU, WAYFAIR!

This took a while to construct - I have used SAUDER products for over 10 years but I noticed this construction was improved over some of my older but still going dtrong items. When I finished, the unit was solid & sturdy. It was perfect in my new kitchen & small enough to fit in the space available, Also added an addtional shelf plus one of those vinmyl-coated-write baskets than slip onto the shelf below the shelf. I switched out the handle & used one that mathes the ones on my kitchen cabinets. For those with issues about the back cardboard: Most Sauder storage items e.g.bookcasespantry. have this type of backing & I never had a problem. Make sure you nail in *ALL* the nails!!

I moved from a house into a small apartment and desperately needed storage for kitchen items. I purchased one of these and put it together myself. I love it. I put it in the corner of my small dining area and use it as a food pantry. I decided to buy a second one (it was easier putting the second one together!) and use it for kitchen storage. It sits in the other corner of my small dining area. I have purchased several shelving units for my apartment and I truly believe that this was the best investment that I made. It really wasn't hard putting together the first one I didn't look carefully enough at the diagram and had the sides facing the wrong way. I had to backtrack just a little bit to correct it. I made sure not to make that mistake the second time! This is a very welcome addition to my furnishings!
Review of Sauder Summer Home Pantry

Took me a little over 3 hours to assemble it. The instructions and the illustrations are not very clear. They ask you to do multiple things in one step without explaining diagrammatically how to do it. Also, the diagrams and the steps dont specify what planes the pieces are supposed to be fixed at for e.g. how far does one need to push it when attaching it. You have to experiment a few things and the order of instructions could also have been better.
Does the trick
Curli from Atlanta, GA– Verified Buyer
We ordered this cabinet, because our kitchen is lacking on cabinet space and a pantry. It does the trick! There are four wide shelves. I am able to fit about 20 boxes of my sons milk, cleared my counter top from being filled with 30+ spices, and threw other things that were taking up space in the kitchen.
Nice for the price

Yes,it's made from pressboard and the back is thin cardboard but it works for me. I needed a pretty small cabinet to fit in the space I had. Using it for extra alcohol ( bottom shelf only ) and wine glasses and other glasses looks a lot nicer than you might think
Easy to assemble, looks great
Kristen from KINGWOOD, TX– Verified Buyer
This pantry looks very nice once assembled, and assembly was very easy. The only problem I had was lining up the door to the magnetic catch. It took several adjustments and the door still does not seem to latch very securely. The door does stay closed though, and for the price compared to other pantries, I am still very satisfied with my purchase.
Functional, looks nice
Patricia from Roanoke, VA
Bought two of these to go in our family dining area for some extra storage space For the price they are functional and look nice. They are rather small (pay attention to dimensions given) and quite light weight, so I would have been quite disappointed had I paid more for them. Easy to assemble and serve the purpose for which they were bought.
Perfect size for smaller kitchen
Amber from St Petersburg, FL– Verified Buyer
Bought after a kitchen remodel and was challenged by finding a smaller hutch/organizer for a kitchen. Looks nice and serves it's purpose. The door appears slightly flimsy, so I open it carefully, as it is only attached to one thinner inner panel on the inside. Otherwise for the price, you really can not beat what you get and takes care of visual clutter. Overall I would recommend
Practical, assembly a little difficult
Kelly from Sherwood, OR– Verified Buyer
Love the way this looks put together, it is slim so tucks away things you want to store. The materials look very nice. Only problem was with assembly - it was difficult to get the pieces to fit together just right, especially because you can't really go back and loosen or tighten certain parts once it's all put together.
Love the pantry!!!

I put this pantry in my bathroom in a small area so that I could use it to store toiletries and other bathroom items. It worked great and looks very nice.
