It makes my family room look a lot nicer than the regular wired dog kennel.

This item was easy to piece together. It is very heavy and awkward once assembled though.(I suggest you assemble it in the room you intend it stay.)The interior wipes clean easily. It doesn't look as nice as the more expensive models, however it looks very nice for the price. I would buy this again.

One thing, mainly- the entire back panel is 1/4 flimsy particle-board with veneers. Meaning it cannot be used as an end table away from a wall without looking like rubbish. The photo implies otherwise, as there's a good 5 inches at least behind that thing. It also feels much smaller somehow than it seems it should, but my spatial perception isn't the best, so eh. Also, it took my cat (she's sick and needs to be safe from the other cats) half an hour to rip significant chunks of wood out of the base of the door- NOT durable. She's also almost broken the door open a few times, just jamming up against it. I don't know how dogs react to crates, maybe they just sit there, but if they put up anything resembling a struggle, they'd probably rip the thing apart in no time. I would return it if I could, but since you have to glue parts of it together.. :/

I LOVE this pet crate! The unsightly plastic crates are now in my shed, for the next time I train a puppy. Beside my bed I have a lovely wooden table/crate. It was easy to assemble, it arrived early, and it looks very nice. My two small dogs easily fit into the crate, where they sleep at night. I had the idea for crates that looked like nice furniture about 10 years ago, and now they exist. I can't say enough nice things about this item!
