This is a beautiful headboard. The color is much darker and richer than pictured, which is exactly what I wanted. It is nearly identical to the color of the Liberty Avalon headboard, and looks much more expensive in person. It was well packaged and arrived very quickly. The only negative is the assembly. I took my time and was able to assemble the headboard myself, but it sure seemed like a lot of extra steps and a lot of screws. I actually had a blister on the palm of my hand by the time I finished. I guess the amount of assembly required is the reason the price is so low. When completed, it could easily pass for a $200-300 headboard. I've paired this headboard with two Wilden Home Tyler nightstands, and the colors and style match perfectly.
Good product, bad instructions

Ordered this product from Wayfair and it arrived exactly when they said it would and was packed very well. Got a new bed so I needed a headboard and wanted a tall one to lean back against once in a while for reading. Looked everywhere locally and found the prices for a simple headboard to be on par with a wall street banker's salary and outside my means at a distance. Looked on-line and found this one well within my means and decided to get it. I normally go custom built from real wood, but decided it's only a headboard and will be up against the wall so I can get away with this MDF thing. Went to assemble it and found the instructions to be poor. (I have vast experience with RTA furniture assembly and can do much of it with one hand behind my back in my sleep). The instructions rely heavily on pictures that are not detailed so you must think about each peice and how it fits. Ran into a real problem with the leg extenders on this one and took me 30 minutes to figure it out. Had the picture been more detailed or text instructions included it would have been no problem at all. Other than that, the headboard does look nice, kind of a elegant look, but not in a danty sense. It does the job. Just make sure you have it not only attached to the bed, but also against a wall as it is not designed to be leaned against on it's own.

Really nice piece. The finish is excellent even though the material is pressed wood you wouldn't know it. If you get it be careful not to use screws in all the holes on the back, only the predrilled ones, and you will need a flashlight to confirm. I don't know why but they put holes that do not line up with the support and if you screw in that area the point of the screw comes through the finished side...I did it...so mad. It would have been so easy to label or color the holes to use. Besides that a great value and looks really nice.

My new headboard is absolutely beautiful!!! When it arrived I was amazed at how heavy it was. I knew it was a good quality wood. My son and daughter-in-law and I put it together( it did come in about 15 pieces!). But the finished product was well worth the labor involved. My family had been in the furniture business for a hundred years so I have some nice furniture in my home. My new headboard fits in perfectly with my other quality pieces of furniture. Ordering, shipping and price were all easy and affordable. Thank you.

What a complete waste of money!! I could not figure out how to put the "legs" on this headboard and had three friends come over to help. Between the four of us we still could not put it together. After reading other reviews I thought that I had been sent the wrong "legs" but by that time I had thrown away the packaging and when I thought how much it would cost to send it back I just gave up. I bought a complete bed from a local store and when they took away the old bed I had them take the Palladia headboard also, or what there was of it. I might as well have just burned a hundred dollars in my fireplace.
Nice headboard but a lot of work

The headboard looks great but it took several hours for me to put it together. It would have been nice to have another person to help but I managed to get it laid out and put together. It looks great when done! I used a little wood glue on the top piece as there wasn't much holding it and I didn't want to drill the screws in too far. Overall it is a nice headboard for the price.
Great quality and value

For the price you are getting a nice quality, sturdy piece of furniture. We needed a headboard and nightstand for a room that already had a very expensive armoire. You can barely tell that this piece and the matching nightstand were purchased for much less and years later. Really finished up our guest room in style!

So first time using the site, easy checkout and pretty quick delivery. The pieces were packed well and survived the shipping process with no issues. Once I had everything unpacked and plenty of floor space, I took out the directions. The directions were a bit jumbled and you had to read through a couple times and look from the pieces back to the directions. In the very beginning you are connecting the heaviest pieces and with the particle kind of material you have to be careful not to put too much pressure on the pieces when screwing it together, so I recommend having couch pillows handy. Once I had it all together, my wife helped me lug it into the bedroom and get it into position. It was at that point that I noticed a couple screws had pushed through and caused a bit of a bubble on the opposite side. One is concealed and one is not, but I only used a screwdriver and didn't turn them too deep (I thought). Possible design flaw that they should fix with shorter screws or thicker wood. In any case, we got her in place and I threw in the 4 screws on each side that attach to the frame. I took a step back and it looks beautiful, however, another possible design flaw is, unless your bedframe is up flat against the wall (ours is kitty cornered), any movement of the bed, even just getting in and out, causes the top heavy headboard to sway a bit. Don't even THINK about leaning against it, which I think defeats the purpose of a headboard? I was able to wedge a piece of flexboard between the baseboard heating up to the back of the headboard, but it's only a temporary fix. I wonder if the manufacturer or Wayfair have any solutions to this?

This headboard looks good for the price. It is very heavy and I definitely needed another set of hands to put it together and move it. We also need to drill new holes to attach it properly as the holes in the headboard did not line up with the frame. Without proper attachment it makes noise hitting the wall behind it.

The headboard looks really good. But it was very heavy and I couldn't put it together by myself. If would
