Easy to assemble, solid, mostly US made
Beverley from San Jose, CA – Verified Buyer
For ready-to-assemble composite wood furniture, I like Sauder. Their instructions are clear and simple. I was able to assemble this piece by myself, although if you aren't very strong you'd probably need someone to help flip the assembled piece to put on the backing and to stand it up when done assembling it. The furniture is solid and stable. I'm using this in my laundry room, and the quality and look are great for that application. I also like that 90% of their manufacturing is still in the US (per their website). When assembling the cabinet, do follow the instructions that state to hand-tighten all screws. Do NOT use an electric driver or you can easily drive the screws in too far and possibly split the composite wood. The product was well-packaged for shipping. Despite its substantial weight, there was no damage to the product. But you will likely need a very strong person or two people to move the box. It's very heavy.
Affordable, smart design
Gary from Sunrise, FL – Verified Buyer
Good looking design in a functional, affordable piece of furniture. Straightforward assembly with with a screwdriver and hammer, and only a couple of minor quibbles: 1.) One screw hole on the base was not aligned properly, so it made assembly a little difficult, but only for that piece, and 2.) I was unfamiliar with how to adjust the door hinges, so it took a couple of beats to figure out how to set those correctly, as the instruction manual wasn't particularly clear on those. All told, maybe 2-1/2 hours assembly from start to finish. The hardware pieces even come sorted in their own individually sealed pockets, making access and identification that much easier. Yes, it's particle board with a laminate cover, but a very good value for the price.
Storage Cabinet - Versatile
Wep from toronto, ON – Verified Buyer
This cabinet did not disappoint me or my husband when it arrived. It is a good quality product and has reasonably clear instructions to put this together. We were going to have a handyman do it but my husband decided to give it a go instead. We bought 2 of these. He put the first cabinet together [all but the 2 doors] in about 2 hours. It would have taken a lot less time but he doesn't have the proper tools. This was our first experience buying something from Wayfair.com. The are located in the USA but deliver to Canada. It will cost you extra but well worth it. I couldn't find anything here that compared to this. This product is made by Saunder and all parts are excellent and not junk. I would highly recommend this product and Wayfiar.com. Their pre-sales and customer service are excellent. You can also arrange the delivery to suit your schedule.
Very Sleek and Functional! Great Pantry!
Nancy from Cedar Park, TX – Verified Buyer
We have almost no pantry space, it's a tiny little closet in the kitchen, so this thing has been a real lifesaver. It will hold quite a lot, and accommodates larger items like Costco sized cereal boxes. The shelves adjust at logical intervals, and it comes with just enough shleves. It was easy to put together, and it very lightweight for moving, but still feels sturdy enough. The finish is lovely, and fits perfectly with our other furniture. The only downside is that the handles are slightly uneven. We've tried everything we can think of to get them to be even, but the holes were just not drilled properly. Otherwise it's fantastic.
Perfect Pantry for New Townhome
J.M. from Trinity, FL – Verified Buyer
My husband and I just bought our first home and needed to add a large enough pantry for our staples but also extra canned food goods and dog's food. This pantry was the perfect size for our space while giving us amble storage. Pros: I like how the bottom shelf leaves extra space for larger containers. Cons: A little hard and time consuming to put together. Even though we followed the instructions step by step, the doors still don't exactly line up. It's not a major difference (my mom didn't notice when she came to visit until it was pointed out) but we can tell since we use it daily.
Worth getting if on a budget and space constrained
Anne from Seattle, WA – Verified Buyer
I bought a new home with no pantry so my two roommates and I needed something quick. This fits perfectly in the only corner of my kitchen that I had room and provides 5 great storage shelves. But a few things to note: The top of the cabinet is NOT finished- it's just a light wood color... you won't see it if you're under 6' like me, but my first tall friend that I had over noticed it (and unfortunately most of my friends are rather tall). You're not supposed to put anything on top of the cabinet as it isn't a weight bearing shelf, but we're using it to hold some lighter items that help to cover up the unfinished wood (cereal boxes, a couple of bags of chips/snacks), and then have a couple extra dark brown placemats underneath that to keep it less noticeable- probably no more than 5 lbs in total weight and it's working just fine. Another thing to note- this thing can be difficult to put together, so like others I would recommend putting it together with someone else. The trickiest part for me was getting the back panel (which is literally just a type of really thick card stock or cardboard) to be nailed into the unit as straight as possible. While the instructions say it has to be laying down to have that back part assembled, we couldn't get it to lie straight so we VERY CAREFULLY stood it up and then were able to get the cabinet straightened out and assembled much more quickly. It's not very sturdy unless you plan to secure it to the wall (which it's supposed to be), or unless you fill up the shelves. I quickly added my pantry items to the unit and found it to be a lot less wobbly once filled. One star removed for the flimsiness of the material and one star removed for the price- would think this is a $150 at most, but I do agree with others that it's good compared to what I could find elsewhere in this color (which I needed to match my kitchen). Would I recommend it? Only to those on a budget and that was space constrained like myself. It's serving it's purpose well and I hope it'll suffice for at least a few years.
Great Product for the price.

I bought four of these to place on a wall in my kitchen for storage use. They fit great and look great also. Lots of storage room now. The description of the product was very accurate and I love the hinges that come with them. They are easy to put in and are easily adjustable to where you need them. Took about four hours for me to put them together by myself. Used the instruction sheet for the first one and the rest were simple. Great product for a great price. I would recommend them to anybody looking for cheap storage space.
Sauder HomePlus 23 Storage Cabinet
Karen Redwine from Salina, KS
I really love this cabinet, so much so that I bought another one just like it, My son put it together for me (he hasn't gotten to the second one yet), as it is way too heavy and large for me to manage. It took a little while to figure out how to adjust the brackets, and the doors don't fully meet, but everything does fit squarely. It looks beautiful in my bathroom (I love the dark finish), and I am thrilled with how much it holds. I live in an apartment with only one normal sized closet and a pantry in the kitchen, so that is extremely important to me. There were no problems with the first one, and hopefully the second one will be the same. They are extremely well-packed and both arrived ahead of schedule. Also, with the discount from my first purchase plus the sale price, I saved $70 on the second cabinet.from Wayfair.
Nice Storage Space, Great look.
Shankara from Monmouth Junction, NJ – Verified Buyer
I needed additional storage space for my kitchen, bought this after lot of research on the internet and stores, looks good and lot of storage space for the money paid. Great look, assembly was easy. 4 starts only because, it is not so sturdy, you have to fix it to the wall to be safe, but that is not a point to worry.
Second pantry for apartment living
Debbie from Los Angeles – Verified Buyer
Found the perfect size second pantry for my apt! Very large heavy box for shipping. It can be put together mostly by one person, but you will need some help standing it up to finish. Having adjustable shelves is nice.
