Does the trick, should last a long time!
Kirk from Upstate NY– Verified Buyer
We looked for a long time for the right armoire for hanging clothes storage, and finally settled on this item, which fell at a good spot between ultra-cheap ($150-$200) and high-end solid wood ($1000 and up).
Great Little Armoire
Nancie Wysong from Maryland– Verified Buyer
I put this together in about 4-5 hours. I am not a skilled handiman type (handiwoman) but as long as you follow the directions in the order that they have you assemble, you will do fine. After reading other reviews, I decided to hang the doors while the cabinet was lying flat on it's back (before installing the back) and I was happy that I did, because got in on my back, had my son place the doors evening over me, and I screwed them in while shut inside. They came out hanging even with even spacing that I think I may not have been able to do otherwise without help.
Sturdy and mostly easy assembly

This is a great piece of furniture. Assembly is much easier than a different armoire we had ordered and returned (not from Wayfair). The color is a dark brown (almost black) with some lighter brown distressing, it is very nice. The pieces are heavy MDF, and for the most part not flimsy. The only "flimsy" parts are the bottoms of the drawers, which isn't an issue unless you plan to put a bunch of heavy items in the drawers. I plan to put clothes in there, so no big deal. We are putting our TV in the top part, and will be taking part of the back piece off (it has perforated lines for this) so we can mount the TV to the wall, but still have the back piece framing the sides so we won't be able to see the wall when the armoire is open.
Worst purchase of my life!!!!
Janet from Massachusetts– Verified Buyer
Do NOT purchase this armoire. I kid you not, this has been the worst purchase of my life. It's a piece of junk and it totally fell apart in just a short amount of time. The drawers are made of cardboard, it's flimsy and it moves around all over the place. All my clothes have fallen off and down the back of the armoire. It cost me an extra $200 to hire someone to put it together and it took him over four hours. Between the cost of the armoire and the cost of the assembly I'm into it nearly $1000 and it's completely and totally unusable! It's literally a big piece of junk. I think I should get a full refund and they should pay for someone to come and haul it away.
Sauder Haror View Armoire

This is my third Sauder piece - the second in the Harbor View Collection. I ordered the computerdesk for my shore home and could not have been more satisfied. The size of the unit fits perfectly in our office and blends beautifully with our beach decor.
Easy to assemble, well made

I bought three of these to go in a row in my bedroom. The pieces are very thick and sturdy-- important for particleboard-- and the finish was convincing. It was impressively easy to put together-- all but hanging the doors I could do alone. They include a screwdriver but I'd recommend using a power drill as there are many screws. I installed plywood shelves in two of the three units and found the side walls more than thick enough to be drilled for shelf supports without worry. My only complaint is the backing which is conspicuously cheap looking because of the perforations so you can take pieces out of it.

My son actually put this together, he did have a few problems. it really requires 2 people to assemble. otherwise it is a nice piece. It serves the purpose.

Love it. Pros: Good price. Plenty of room, serves the purpose for when we have guests.
Not perfect but good
Cynthia from Brooklyn, NY– Verified Buyer
These piece is good looking. The antique paint effect is a nice touch. They hold a fair amount of clothing but there is a catch (isn't there always). First, they do NOT have enough length to hang a short women's dress, shirts and pants only. Second they are a touch narrow for shirts, if you like to keep them perfectly ironed like I do. The sleeves were getting bunched but I was able to solve this problem by pinning them in front, like the dry cleaner does, with plastic clothes pins from the dollar store. I would give it 3.5 stars but I will round up because overall its a good prefab piece.

This piece is much MORE than I bargained for. It is larger (taller and deeper) than the pictures make it seem. It's also constructed amazingly well. Took four grueling hours to assembly, but it was worth it. Extremely heavy, but managed it alone with furniture sliders. The drawers and doors function like a much higher priced piece of furniture. Turned out absolutely level on all sides. I love this!
