We purchased this item and two nightstands to furnish an upstairs bedroom modestly since it is infrequently used. Assembly was not difficult; however, the support pieces in the nightstands were more difficult to screw in due to the types of fasteners (the screws are inserted in an indented fastener, and though this allows for some of the angle needed for the screwdriver, it is difficult). The three-drawer chest's twist-lock fasteners were much easier, thus making assembly much easier and for us, faster. Since the décor of the room is coastal, the three pieces worked well. There is; however, one negative. The smell of the glue used in the composite wood in all 3 pieces is very strong! We were able to assemble the nightstands in our garage and let them remain about a week and this lessened the odor. We did not have time to do this with the chest and had to run an air purifier the entire time our guests were in the room to lessen the odor.
Ugh... not too happy...
SAM from Sterling, VA – Verified Buyer
Well bringing it into the house, I was happy with the weight, seemed like it would be sturdy. When putting it together, it definitely took two people. There were some issues putting it together like the top, which was supposed to have pre-drilled holes, didn't, but i got my drill out and fixed that without much trouble. I was in the laundry room putting this together, and since it isn't too bright in there, after it was all good to go it looked alright. However when I moved it into my guest bedroom... the color was off, and well... it upsets me. How can they even call this a white dresser when it is the color of a manila folder! I have green walls with white and black decorative painting as well as white sheets, it doesn't mesh well at all. The only thing i am happy about is the size, it is exactly the size I was looking for, for a small guest bedroom. I did get a nightstand to match, I thought I got the same white, but I ordered the darker wood by mistake, and to tell you the truth, I like that a whole lot better! (Yes I put them both in the same room... guest room + aggravation don't care for now!) :P
Not really White....
Rachel from Al – Verified Buyer
This is a really sturdy dresser, and quite easy to put together. The only thing to be aware of is that the color isn't a true white. It's more of an antique, distressed white than pure white. It looks nice though in my daughters room and is working just fine for us. It was a good value for the price.
beautiful product but be careful

this dresser is beautiful but it definitely took two people to put together and it was not sturdy on its own once it was finally finished. it does not come with a strong back piece. the manufacturer knows this since the dresser came with a brace to attach it to the wall in your home for stability. since we didn't want to put a hole in our wall for the dresser and wanted to the option to move our furniture around some day, we actually bought some plywood and built a false back for the dresser. we are very happy with the way the dresser looks but i definitely wouldn't buy this dresser unless you are handy with small parts and are able to come up with a solution for its poor stability.
Great Piece with Function & Style
Mary from Roscommon, MI – Verified Buyer
This chest is good quality but the drawer bottoms could be made of a sturdier wood. Directions for assembly were great, detailed, and easy to follow. Product shipped by freight and is VERY heavy! Most will need help to move it. Overall, great buy. I am super satisfied with this chest and would recommend it to others.
Not the Specified Finish
Jennifer from Schwenksville, PA – Verified Buyer
Be Careful-they misrepresent the finish on this item. The Distressed Finish is really only some kind of paint over top of the particle board not a real distressed finish. If something comes in contact with it, it peels off. However, even still, the item is nice.

Fairly easy to put together and a nice size for a medium sized room. Hardware is a little boring - I may replace the handles to make this basic dresser a little more interesting. Nice deep drawers though!
Very solid piece. Great stuff
Michael from Massapequa, NY – Verified Buyer
Instructions were well documented. Easy to put together. Very solid material. Need 2 people for assembly.
Matches the pictures and description perfectly but top drawers broke quickly!
Betsy from Waco, TX – Verified Buyer
My top drawers broke only after a few months of use. Looks great but wouldn't recommend it if you're putting clothes in the top drawers.
Good piece from a good brand
Christine from Richmond, VA – Verified Buyer
I have had a very good experience with this brand. This piece had more of a "pickled oak" finish than distressed white (in my opinion) but still looks great in my bedroom. It has nice lines and styling, and is the perfect height for my TV.
