I was so pleased with the color and design of this cabinet. It's functional and the oiled oak finish is very attractive.

I was surprised at how sturdy and attractive this piece was. It's took two men approximately one hour to put it together. The Wood tone is very rich and there's plenty of space for receivers, movies, sound bars, and DVD player. For the price it was an incredible deal. I have a 50 inch LG TV and it looks fine on this 40 inch TV stand.
Good overall stand

Good stand with quick shipment. I only gave 4 stars because the material is very easy to scratch and the assembly is more complicated then necessary.

Bought this b/c it was inexpensive and a good test item for my latest project. Previous reviews indicated it was solid and well made so for the cost I had to give it a shot. I have not actually assembled yet as I am in the process of stripping it down, sanding, priming and painting a solid color. I had been looking for a corner unit that I wouldn't take a huge loss on if my job job turned out ridiculously poor and needed to be redone one or two times. Still in the priming mode at this point. Will post a finished product shot at some point in the near future. As far as style, it is very transitional, solid MDF sheets, nice leg and door style although I plan to change out the hardware. Again, for the cost it was too good to pass up for my little project. I must say that the finish as it is sold is not bad at all, just not what I am looking for.
Looks Good, Very Sturdy, Right Price..

We got this stand for our guest bedroom and the reviews are right about how sturdy this stand is! We were also concerned about having a "cheap look", but this stand actually looks great and only we have to know we spent a low $120 for it. It was shipped quickly and it assembled just as quick. This stand exceeded all expectations! We would give it 5 stars.. but after all, this is just a $120 TV stand.. :-)

This has been a great TV stand to hide movies, games, controls, etcetera but still gives you an open space for your equipment such as DVD player and dish box. I love the wood color and design as well.
My back hurts...
Denise Rowell from Vermont
Assembly went fine until the hinges. OMG! The doors still aren't right and the finish is chipped in three places from trying. There were no holes to screw the back to the legs so I used finish nails. The color is much darker than I expected. Still, a reasonable price for the product...
Looks nice but tough to put together
Anne from Oakbrook Terrace, IL– Verified Buyer
This tv stand is difficult to put together. I am usually good with this sort of thing, but had a hard time. One part of the directions was wrong and I had to go back and correct it. Another part would have been easier had the steps been reversed. After it was painstakingly put together, it looked pretty good, although there is a four-inch section on either side that is not covered in the wood laminate. It's just plain particle board and does not look good. It's towards the back, but you can still see it from the sides.

This is a great TV stand for the price point. My only complaint is that the directions are not that clear (even with the online instructional videos). It took more time to decipher directions than to build.
