Sauce Pans & Sauté Pans

I just discovered Paella pans in the last 6 months or so... I now own two !... Great all purpose pans... You can use them on the cook top or in the oven... Now... I must make a comment about another review posted about the black steel paella pans... "Smells like rusted metal, once you wash it and the smell remains. I threw it away."... How sad... This person obviously never encountered something our ancestors and we would die without... STEEL... Smells like rusted metal???... Duh !!! What would you expect steel to smell like??? Aluminium oxide ?!?!... Anyway... These pans are excellent... Not cooking on "non-stick" chemicals with questionable health affects... Buy it, learn to use it... This pan is STEEL... Yes, it smells like, well, STEEL... It does not smell like plastic... There is nothing wrong with a steel pan smelling like steel... Wow... Anyway... Get one... Cook on steel not plastic "non-stick" stuff... These pans will last a life time... I only wish an American company would make something like this... I purchased The Classicor 3 QT Saucepan by Kinetic because I am interested in getting rid of my Teflon pans because they just don't perform as well as a nonstick stainless steel pan. This pan has a nice sturdy handle that is welded onto the pan. Many pans are attached by a screw and the screw always gets loose and needs tightened...but this pan is welded on and seems to be on forever. This pan is a good weight without being too heavy or feeling too light and cheap. I have never been impressed with the see through lids as they normally get all steamy wet and you can't see through the condensation anyway so the lid always needs to be taken off regardless. I use this saucepan for everything from frying up hamburger for tacos to one dish meals. Spaghetti, chili, soup.....it's my go to pan for everything and washes up nice and easy."..."  Read more

This pan is great. Very sturdy pan and handle. Lid locks on security and pan heats up well. Only con is the metal top to lift the lid gets hot, but inevitable with the stainless steel. Overall I love how deep it is! Perfect for chicken, stir fry or making a sauce!"..."  Read more
