I like this pan. It heats evenly and quickly and it is easy to clean. It is well built and looks great. I also have an older Calphalon anodized aluminum saute pan. The lid on the older pan gets very hot and requires a hot pad to remove the lid. Not this new stainless pan. The lid remains cool enough to remove the lid bare handed."..." Read more

I love this pan! Nothing sticks to it and it is SOO easy to clean. I love that my dishwasher is no longer overfull of pans as handwashing is so quick! This pan is larger than any of my frying pans, and deeper too. I had hoped it would be a little bit deeper though as it is not very much deeper than a frying pan (only slightly). It comes with a lid though which is a huge plus for a frying pan size/shaped dish. I also like that it has 2 handles which is much easier for my to lift with. The handles rubbery covers though aren't very big and beyond the covers the handles are hot."..." Read more

When do you ever NOT need a saute pan? I use it for everything (reheating food, cooking up a stir fry, cooking steak). It's a really great item, great price, and even better quality.
