I've been using the stainless Emerilware from All-Clad for two years now and have been very happy with it. My biggest gripe has been that I didn't have a 2 quart pan in my set. I had 1.5 quarts and 3 quarts, but I was feeling a bit like Goldilocks and the three bears when it came to my cookware. Enter the 2qt sauce pan with pouring spout and nifty lid with drainage holes. This pot is perfect for cooking up pasta for those times when I don't need to cook for more than just my children. I love the pouring spouts and drainage holes on the lid. I can easily drain pasta without needing a colander. Anything that saves me from needing another cooking device that will have to be washed gets bonus points with me. The pot is a nice weight and is fairly well balanced. As far as pots go, this one is a little short and wide (I'd prefer taller and thinner, to be perfectly honest) but it gets the job done and that's what's important. I like this pan. It heats evenly and quickly and it is easy to clean. It is well built and looks great. I also have an older Calphalon anodized aluminum saute pan. The lid on the older pan gets very hot and requires a hot pad to remove the lid. Not this new stainless pan. The lid remains cool enough to remove the lid bare handed."..."  Read more

I purchased The Classicor 3 QT Saucepan by Kinetic because I am interested in getting rid of my Teflon pans because they just don't perform as well as a nonstick stainless steel pan. This pan has a nice sturdy handle that is welded onto the pan. Many pans are attached by a screw and the screw always gets loose and needs tightened...but this pan is welded on and seems to be on forever. This pan is a good weight without being too heavy or feeling too light and cheap. I have never been impressed with the see through lids as they normally get all steamy wet and you can't see through the condensation anyway so the lid always needs to be taken off regardless. I use this saucepan for everything from frying up hamburger for tacos to one dish meals. Spaghetti, chili, soup.....it's my go to pan for everything and washes up nice and easy."..."  Read more

Love the pouring spout! Great for making tea, hot chocolate, soups and sauces and pouring them with no mess. I was disappointed in the lid. It doesn't fit well - has about a 1/4 inch gap - so it really doesn't serve a purpose. The pan is a decent weight, though not as heavy as my All-Clad pans. I like the fact that it's stainless steel since I think it is a healthier way to cook than using nonstick."..."  Read more
