The steel base plate provides a solid platform to minimize the speaker's loss of energy and optimize sound reproduction. Adjustable carpet spikes improve sound quality and add stability. Rubber feet are included for wood or tile floors. All models feature a unique resonance-damping ring that is sandwiched between the top plate and pillars.

This is easy to assemble however it seems one of the plastic footers would not securely fasten and the screw kept falling out. I followed the assembly instruction to the letter and the stand itself seems not very secure. It gives me concern that it will topple over, or fall apart, when I am listening to music. Since I have 2 speakers to mount I might be forced to buy another stand to make a match. I gave this a 3 star rating due to the actual stability of the structure. Was this helpful? Yes / No
