Very nice Good quality and easy to put together. Using as surround stands. Be careful putting the screws in, they could come out the drilled hole. |

Good looking stands, problem with wood split. Put the speakers together as instructed and I thought I was gentle when I tightened screws at the base of both stands, but alas the wood split slightly. Upset a bit but I'll get over it. That's why only 4 stars. |

Great stands for the price Bought 2 sets of these for my 5" surround speakers. They work perfectly. Very easy to assemble. I did not experience any wood splitting issues with these 31" versions as I did with the 16" stands I also got. The carpet spikes were a bit tricky (tight) to get in at first, but with a bit of side to side rocking, they slid in perfectly. Perfect stands for the price! |

Sanus Basic 31" Speaker Stands I received my speaker stands on exactly the day they said they would arrive. I unboxed them and started to assemble them. They took about 15 minutes to put a pair of them together. But like other reviews said, be careful not to over tighten the screws. I went a little too far on one of them and I have a tiny crack in 1 of the uprights. Overall I am very happy with them, the price was really good. The same stands in a big box store (Best Buy) in Canada were $124.98 a pair and I got 2 pairs $89.98. |

Nice stands These stands work great for my Boston Acoustic speakers! Very sturdy & they do hide the wires. Just bought another set. Be ware, when screwing together do not try to over tighten because the wood will start to split. They just need to be snug. |

Sanus Basid Foundations speaker stands [...] it took only about 15 minutes to assemble both stands, and everything went together as it should. If your looking for a basic wooden stand that looks good and is well made than this is your ticket. I only gave it 4 out of 5 stars as they are a little lighter weight than I would prefer. |

Look good and easy to assemble. These look good and were easy to assemble. Do not use power screw drivers, use the old fashion hand #2 phillips screw driver, particle board does not like to much power. Had to buy thicker pieces of rubber to sit my speakers on to accommodate the thickness of my speaker wire, other than that they are great for the price. |

Very attractive stands for the $$$ Stands used to set my box speakers on and they look pretty good. No problems with putting them together and the finish was good. |
