"You must pre-drill the screw holes" Product Review They look great and blend very well with all the other A/V equipment. Have two pairs of these stands. One holds Pioneer BS21's, the other holds Martin Logan MLT1's. After pre-drilling the screw holes,(to avoid splitting the wood) these are easy to assemble. Use a drill bit slightly smaller than the width of the screw threads. Do not over tighten the screws, just snug them by hand only, "Do not use a power driver on these". They are the perfect height for both front and rear surround speakers. The only way to use the hole in the bottom for the speaker wire is to use the carpet spikes, but then the stands are unstable. The hole in the top for the speaker wire is useless in my experience as the speaker will not sit level at all. Service Review Received these on time and in excellent condition. |

Assembly Instructions As to splitting the wood: I placed finishing nails to line up the hole and "placed" them in the pre-drilled holes and that helped to align the holes. Use three and the fourth will be aligned. Then use a hand held screw driver and hand-tighten. I had no split wood problem with this method. If you do not align the holes you will split the wood. |

Great Value and good looks combined. These stands are a Great Value and the best bang for the buck. Good looks and style that accent and compliment any bookshelf speaker. |

Fills the bill I was initially attracted to these speaker stands because of the great price. Upon receiving them, I was also impressed by their stylish design. They were exactly what I wanted, nicely built, easy to assemble, and they were delivered quickly |

Poor Quality Speaker Stands The screws required to attach the bottom and top plates to the center stand arm split the wood. Should of returned but did not and not will have to live with them. Using black tape to keep them together. |

Good product I have 2 medium size front speakers on these stands. They were easy to assemble and they look great with my other home theater components. Couldn't ask for a better product, and they were reasonably priced, too. |
