Easy to put together and is NOT creaky! I hate futon frames that always make noise. This seems to be high quality and very solid when used as a platform bed. The mechanics to go from a bed to couch also seem to be high quality and very easy to transition from one to the other. I am also a big fan of not having any arm rests on the futon, this is one of the main reasons we chose this frame. Mostly we will keep it flat, but its nice to have the option of turning the guest room into more of an office with a couch if we ever feel like it. I would definitely buy this again.. Kelly. Update I liked this frame so much a bought a queen size for my guest bedroom! The guest room is primarily our home gym so I wanted an economical option for a queen size fold out bed that looks nice too. This one was even easier to put together because I already did it once before. I would recommend this frame to anyone! Original This frame was perfect for under my daughter’s loft bed! Fits the mattress really well and is really comfortable, especially in the lounger position. We put it together in about an hour with no problems or missing pieces. Make sure you have a rubber mallet and a screwdriver handy. Easy to follow instructions too! She loves it and it was not expensive for the quality. Fantastic! Sturdy and well made. I have nothing but good things to say about this. It took my husband about half a day to put this together just by himself. I'm mainly using it as a bed for now and it works really well. The only thing I would say is that the end shelves aren't completely straight so I would put open drinks on it.. For the last part that is not in the video for assembling this frame, I just followed the included assembly instructions manual.
