This salt a pepper mill set is attractive, well made and functions well. The only problematic design feature are the rubber caps on the bottom. I understand that they solve the usual problem of salt and pepper ending-up on the counter. But, they are difficult to get back on after use and the mills cannot sit properly without them."..." I ordered the Alessi King Chin spice grinder to match with the Queen Chin pepper Grinder I had received as a gift. Both items work great: it grinds the pepper (the Queen) and the salt (the King) very finely and the grinder turns very smoothly, unlike some other grinders that needs some strength to turn them. Very happy with the purchase, though it took a month to receive it (item might not have been in stock but it did not mention when I ordered it until after I clicked "Submit") - Alessi should come up with a tray (a boat for example) to hold this pair of King and Queen: the fine grains leak out from the bottom if you leave them on the table."..."
