I roll it out to wherever we need it, making the books more accessable and therefore they are used more. I was so pleased with the first one that I bought a second. It's an excellent product and value for the price, and I bought mine on sale! The only 'con' I really have is that the shelves are not completely flat when they reach the sides -they incline up so the books on the very ends do not sit completely flat.
