Safavieh takes classic beauty outside of the home with the launch of their Courtyard Collection. Made with enhanced polypropylene for extra durability, these rugs are suitable for anywhere inside or outside of the house. To achieve more intricate and elaborate details in the designs, Safavieh used a specially-developed sisal weave.

Nice rug, not good for kitchen

I needed a rug to protect hardwood kitchen flooring. The first mishap was getting ground coffee on the rug. I tried getting it out, but it didn't really look that good afterward. Then I read that it must be professionally dry cleaned. Nice rug, stylish, etc. Good for some uses, but I would not recommend using it in a kitchen. Hence, I don't think it's fair to call it a kitchen rug and I would not have purchased it. A kitchen rug needs to be machine washable.
