I didn't give them 5 stars because they were not packaged as well as they should have been. 2 chairs arrived with a few minor chips in the back legs. I didn't return them because the damage was minor and I should be able to touch them up myself. I didn't want to hassle with exchanging them. And these are perfect in color, size, comfort, style for our home. Our old wooden chairs were never comfortable, but now we could sit at our kitchen table for hours - so comfy! the seat is firm and roomy, while the back curves enough to give a fitted comfortable feel. the style is classic/traditional modern; so if you are going for a bit of an eclectic feel in your home with greys, browns, blues and greens, these are perfect! The nail head trim adds a touch of fun. FYI - the legs on this chair are a tad on the red side (although still dark).
