It is nothing more than a mesh with very large squares,very little filtering here, They would be much better if they just used a fiberglass window screen and called that a filter. As for the ionizer, it is a mystery, most ionizer on the market are accessible to remove and clean, not here.And this vender does nothing more than republish exacly what the supplier wants to advertise as they are nothing more a third party vendor anyway. Because of it's stature, it does take a little while to take full effect, fortunately the temperature setting makes up for that (in the heat department). The air-cleaning feature is really nice.
