I was disappointed that the rear access space has a lip that prohibits complete access - I can't use one of my rack pieces because the lip border won't allow me to plug in the power source.

Excellent rack at a great price
L. Leon from Chicago, Il
I use these racks for shallow devices like rack effects and eqs. I racked my Marshall 8008 ValveState (a 1U space) which is at the depth limit for this rack. I had to mount it up one space from the bottom in order to have accesss to the jacks in the back of the amp. The lip in the back of the rack comes up and covers the bottom of the unit. So if you rack something in the top or bottom space, it will need to be at least half the depth of the rack in order to gain access to the rear panel of the unit. In other words, if you have a deep rack device, you may want to reconsider these. My Marshall fit, but in the bottom rack, I had no access to the jacks.
Perfect for wireless systems
