Ruffwear's Web Master Harness is a supportive, multi-use harness for dogs built for maneuvering and assisting dogs up and over obstacles. The Web Master is the preferred dog harness used by many avalanche rescue dog teams in the United States. This harness is a great collar alternative and is ideal for hiking, scrambling, and mobility assistance.

Originally designed to assist search-and-rescue organizations. Allows the human to lift the dog onto a chairlift, into a truck, or out of harm’s way. Houdini dogs that manage to escape traditional harnesses find it nearly impossible to get out of the Web Master. Also popular for dog-jouring: dogs pulling humans on skis, skates, skateboards, or sleds. Rehabilitation centers use the harness for lifting and assisting injured or paralyzed dogs through their therapy. Owners of older dogs or dogs with hip dysplasia use the harness to lift and assist their dogs up and down stairs, around the house, and into the yard.

X-Small: 17" - 22"
Small: 22" - 27"
Medium: 27" - 332"
Large: 32" - 42"

*All sizes are determined using dog's girth, the measurement around the largest part of the rib cage

In-between sizes: choose the smaller harness for an active, performance fit.

Fit: The harness should have an all-around snug fit to prevent movement or shifting of the harness. There are five points of adjustment on the harness to allow for ample fine-tuning of the fit: three at the chest, one at the girth, and one at the belly.

She's a 28 1/2" chest and the description said it fits up to 30" chest. I didn't want a bunch of extra strapping on her delicate body so sized "down". The chest is snug when pulled all the way open and i'd say maybe about 28 inches and very snug... does NOT open toi30". The back strap is perfect for the greyhound anatomy though. Product Review I purchased this harness for a 14yr old golden that was having trouble lifting his hind end and trouble going up and down stairs. The harness fit him perfectly and he loved wearing it. Very comfortable! Moved the leash connection from his collar to the back of the harness giving him more freedom to 'sniff' around. The handle allowed me to give him just enough support to provide him confidence on the stairs and lift to stand our get in/out of the car. Great purchase from a great site (Wayfair).
