Quality, leather, size....everything to make a perfect gift for a college student. Sure beats seeing their junk in plastic grocery store bags. More than enough room to hold all their essentials minus the girlfriend! Very sturdy and good, durable leather. Colors are attractive but purchased mine in brown. Looks far more expensive than it cost but most important, it will do the job I purchased it for at half the cost seen on other sites.

I ordered the tan-colored bag, and although I wasn't thrilled with the color at first, it grew on me and I love it now. I bought this bag for three reasons:1. It was relatively cheap (about [$] v. $100 for the same bag elsewhere).2. It was REAL leather and well-made (smooth and solid, not stitched-together scraps), and will one day be something nice I can pass down to my son when he grows up (He's 15 mos. now.).3. I had hoped it would hold all my shaving gear. This was confirmed upon receipt: It holds my Goergetown Pottery G5 shaving scuttle (which is not a small item, in itself), a tub of Taylor of Old Bond Street shaving cream (inside the scuttle), my long-handled Merkur 38C DE razor in its case, my badger brush in its tube, a tube of T.O.B.S. aftershave gel, and a small styptic stick in the side pocket. I wanted a nice bag for my nice shaving items, and at first, I doubted whether I'd get all my stuff in it, but it all fits comfortably and looks great in the process, and I can tell already that it's going to last a long while. I'm very happy with this bag.
