My criteria in looking for a rolling laptop case for my 17" Macbook Pro was 1) it had to be as light as possible, 2) it had to have a strap that fit over the handle of a suitcase, 3) it had to fit easily in the aisle of a plane and go under the seat, 4) it had to look professional, so a wheeled backpack wouldn't do. It's a given that it has to wheel easily and be well made and have good padding. This fit all my criteria. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was that I wanted a case that was just large enough to hold the laptop and a few attachments and have wheels and a handle. I didn't want extra space (and weight) for clothing, but I could not find a case with wheels like that. I actually ended up having to use the extra space for clothing though so it worked out on my last trip. If you don't have clothing and you want to use the large clothing compartment for other electric gadgets, it would be nice to have pockets in it so things don't fly around My other wish is that it would come in some color besides black! A problem that I had was that when I put it over the handle of my 25" suitcase, the handle of the suitcase wasn't long enough, and I couldn't get my hand in between the top of the laptop and suitcase handle. I actually bought a new 25" suitcase (I wanted a spinner anyway) that had a long enough handle. I had to take the laptop case to a store and try it on the handles of all the bags to see which ones had a long enough handle. This case is well made, it has good padding and wheels easily and the zippers are good. I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars because it didn't have any pockets in the large compartment and didn't have a choice of colors."..."  Read more

Please read my review before you buy this bag. I loved the picture and the concept and tried very hard to find a bag in person before buying. I LOVE LOVE LOVE that Wayfair has such a great return policy. I watched the video demo and thought the bag just lifted off of the wheeled platform. Please know that the bag actually zips onto the platform, or has to be unzipped to be removed. Whoever designed the bag was very clever, there are no open zippers visible if you remove the bag.. they can be nicely hidden. But I would not have bought the bag if I knew about the zippers. Also know that the color is bright, it sort of pops. I looked at this bag on various monitors and it was slightly muted, which is more my style. Lastly, I recommend that you look at the dimensions and get a ruler out to see if the size is actually what you are looking for... compare them to a bag you may already have. This one ended up being a bit too big for what I wanted also. It really is a great bag, but it just wasn't what I was looking for. And please do know that there is a shoulder strap included in the bag. I bet this bag would've been great for my walk across the parking lot and up 3 flights of stairs into my office. This Heys Crown XX CR703 is a superb rolling file cabinet.Pros:1.) I take this case to meetings and I am superbly organized.2.) Accordion opening makes files extremely easy to access.3.) Construction -- Carbon Fiber -- is not just current fad, it is amazingly resilient.4.) Not so important to me, but -- this case invokes, "Wow! Where did you get it?"5.) This Crown XX can be carried-on any airline.Cons - Discoveries about its uses:1.) This Crown XX will not fit under an airline seat.2.) This Crown XX will not accommodate a large (17" screen) laptop.3.) If you want substantially the same case that *will* fit under an airline seat, please see Heys USA 4WD CompuEZ Spinner Business/Laptop Case SKU #: UJ1442. I also bought this UJ1442,and my wife loves it.4.) If you have a 17" laptop that you want to take on an airline, I can highly recommend the Case Logic 17" Security Friendly Laptop Roller SKU #: UJ1442 (which I also own.)Recommendations (somewhat redundant):1.) Buy this case for a rolling office file cabinet -- or for a 15" laptop -- that you do not wish to fit under an airline seat.2.) Buy the Heys USA 4WD CompuEZ Spinner Business/Laptop Case D222 to take a (smaller) laptop as a Carry-On (on an airline) that fits under the seat.
