We bought 2 of these portable composters about a year ago for a school project. They worked so well that the school decided to run the composting project again using these composters as the standard. We will be placing the order in another few weeks once we get the totals. I

As a former school teacher I think that this is a wonderful educational tool that is affordable to families to help teach of the benefits of the recycling and the value of earth friendly product for future generations.

We purchase the Compost Sack back in June and have been filling it most of the summer. We continued to mix the contents as recommended and than we left it alone after we filled the compost sack for about 2 months. We just emptied the compost and was really really happy for what we found - nice rich compost that we plan to use in our garden in the Spring. The one thing we realized is that we should have at least 2 of these Compost Sacks so we can do this year round when one is filled we can fill the other one. We would recommend this to others.

We just received our compost ins sack and it is perfect for what we are trying to do. Our kids have had school projects dealing with conservation and recycling and this allowed us to get into composting at a low cost to teach our kids how to do it. Once we get the hang of it we can buy on of the more expensive units.
