Laminate top and edges don't hold up.

Review this product in 20 words or more...Beautiful set. Get lots of compliments. However, very soft wood, dents and marks are visible. Also, the ENTIRE top and edge is a paper type laminate and the edge of the laminate chips. I fix the chips with a brown permanent marker which works well due to the distressed look. I would not have purchased it had I known this would happen but so far it works well as our kitchen set. I'm just glad I got it on sale and with coupons.
