Fair amount of storage space, on both sides of the unit and within. A solid piece of furniture. It wouldn't hurt to have an extra pair of hands assist with the assembly. Bottom line? It has great enclosed storage for my remotes and my vcr and dvd players The finish is superb , but it does have a strong odor to it.
