Four stars becuase it is very pricey. It's very sturdy and I can see my daughter enjoying it for years to come. She's not yet walking so for now we are using it to lean on, support while sitting,and rocking with her. Plus it looks great in her room. This is the best rocking horse out there as there are no parts that a child can hurt themselves with. It also serves as a step for our daughter who loves to climb. She can easily get up on the sofa or bed with this item. She used to need the smaller pig that it 3 layers as a combination step system with the rocker, but now that she's taller she just uses the rocker as a step.
