Reed & Barton Tayloe Jewelry Chest in Piano - 1661M

The Tayloe Jewelry Chest takes its inspiration from a chest of drawers made by an unknown rural cabinetmaker in the 1800s, now in the Colonial Williamsburg collections. This version is expertly crafted in Rosewood veneer with a mahogany stain, and inlaid with a tiger maple veneer border – buffed to a high-gloss piano finish. The interior features an elegant cream faux suede lining, accented with handsome wood partitions, and the inside lid reveals a full mirror. The well is fitted with ring bars, earring compartments and two spacious areas divided by a movable partition. Its two deep drawers are partitioned to hold larger pieces.
