The mirror itself is beautiful and the magnifying mirror inset is such a great design. However, the hooks on which the mirror are hung are not designed well at all. They are more shallow than the brackets on the sides of the mirror, and therefore after you install the hooks on your wall, the mirror can't hang on them. We ended up removing the hooks and placing washers against the wall first to make the hooks the same depth as the side brackets holding the mirror away from the wall."..." Read more

At first, I purchased the Loreta Venetian Wall Mirror in clear, trying to play it safe. However, after I received it, I realized that the Loreta Venetian Mirror in Black would be better suited to my living room decor. Wayfair honored my return and quickly sent me the black mirror. This mirror is a real gem: elegant yet simple. I used two (in the 36" x 26" size and hung horizontally) for above the sinks in our bathroom beneath oil rubbed bronze light fixtures. Perfect. However/caution: the actual size of each mirror is not 36 x 26, but 35 x 25. Since my husband is a full 12" taller than I am, choosing two mirrors that could be hung at the same level and still accomodate both of our eye levels was a key factor in my decision. Since the real size was just 1" smaller than I expected, and the mirrors are otherwise ideal, we decided to keep them. But, had I known they were really 35 x 25, I would not have considered them in the first place, as what I was seeking was a t rue 36 x 26" mirror.
Another thing: In addition to stating accurate sizes in the product description, it would be VERY helpful if the Wayfair.com product description included the WIDTH OF THE FRAME itself (in this case 2 1/4"). THE reason I chose this mirror --in addition to its size, color and traditional style --was that the picture of it on the web site showed it to have a relatively narrow frame which meant the mirror itself would be all that much bigger. I would liked to have known the frame's true size before ordering instead of guessing.
All in all, the Wayfair is a first class organization. I would not hesitate to order from them again (but I would e-mail them for true measurements--if that was important) before placing my order."..." Read more

This mirror is very substantial. It is well made and sturdy. The look is very elegant and goes well with our bathroom decor. The only reason I did not give it five stars is because of the mounting system. There are two holes in the back of the frame that allow the mirror to hang on the included screws. It seems that the mirror could slip off the screws because there isnt any defined notch for the screws to fit into. We ended up setting the mirror against the wall at a slight angle between the vanity sink and the wall which we are happy with."..." Read more
