I bought this chair for my very picky 83 year old uncle that has sat in his 1970 chair all these years. I never thought he would be open to change and got him this chair. He LOVED it from the beginning and has been using it every since. The old chair is in the corner now and he is resting easy in his new chair. My wife and I bought two of these recliners for our media room; and while it did take much longer to receive them than expected (3 months) we are very pleased with our purchase. The overall appearance of the chair reflects quality; the tanning and stitching of the leather along with the chrome accents make for a very nice look. The seating and support are quite firm; and the reclining function operates very smoothly. I'm six feet tall and the true test for me was how well it would be for my scheduled Sunday aftenoon naps... it passed with flying colors! I love this chiar so much that I bought a second one!! I just bought a new home and decided it was time for some new furniture. I wanted a new chair and knew that I wanted a recliner but I did not want a big bulky one. I found this one and I looks more like a club chair than a recliner and i fell in love. I also liked the bold red colour so I ordered it. When it arrived, I was so pleased but knew something was wrong.I had bought a sofa and loveseat but the loveseat had to go and instead I replaced it with the second chair!! Then all was well! The two chairs look SO GOOD together!! (My son is happy with the loveseat) Not only is the chair attractive but it does not look like a recliner. However, it does recline with ease to whatever position one desires. I am writing this with my feet up quite relaxed! The mechanism is quiet and smooth and the material and is high quality.
