I was in the home furnishings industry-retail sales- for over 15 years and have never purchased furniture online. I did a lot of research and found Wayfair and Catnapper. I have a bad back and this chair is so supportive and comfortable I cannot believe it! The coil spring seat and generous padding is awesome! Plus, the swivel glider mechanism is great! Also, the microfiber fabric is very soft yet durable. Not to be gross, but it also repels spills and dirt. I got home one day and my cat had left a deposit on it and it came completely clean with only warm water! I am currently 37 wks pregnant and purchased this chair a few wks ago. I wanted someting the entire family could enjoy and notice a lot of other chairs had a 200 lb weight restriction which would not work for my fiance. I searched high and low for a glider for our baby's room. The backs were either too low, they weren't comfortable enough (wanted to be able to sit in it a while with our new baby) or they didn't have an appealing look. Then I found this glider and took the leap. I was very nervous about purchasing something sight unseen and untested, however things couldn't have worked out better! It came in exactly the color that was shown on the swatch, and the measurements are perfect--for both me 5'8 and my husband 6'2. It glides smoothly and quietly, and reclines far enough to get a comfortable nap in. The arms are the perfect height for nursing or just holding baby, and the best part is, it will be a beautiful addition to any other room of the house once she's older. My wife uses this chair in the living room, to sew, read, watch TV and just to relax.
This combination (rocker, recliner, swivel) is every thing an older person could want, and while wider than most chairs, to provide very comfortable, wide arms, its' length is minimal, so can be placed 8" to 10" from the wall. Since my wife is short (5'-1") the relatively short seat suites her well, but I, at 5'-8", also find it suites me well.
