Chaise: These recliners have an ottoman or footresat that extends as a single part of the recliner when in the reclined position.

Standard:These are your basic recliners for your living, family, or game room.

Ergonomic: Recliners with an ergonomic design have a Scandinavian style that is designed to promote good posture and lessen back pains. Ergonomic recliners allow occupants to raise their legs so that their feet are above their heart, lowering blood pressure and strain on the spine.

Home Theatre: Home theater seats are luxurious in design and are used to create a movie theater in a home. These chairs often include features such as cupholders, storage in the armrests, or a theater side table attached to the seat. Often times these seats can be arranged in order to provide the ultimate viewing pleasure.

Wing: wing recliners generally have a high back with rolled arms and wing shaped protrusions that extend over the arms at the head level.

Zero Gravity: These chairs recline to a 180 degree position, maximizing relaxation and blood flow.

Massage: A massage chair is a chair that is designed to massage a person's muscles and help redevelop circulation of their blood. This can help alleviate back pain, stress, and muscle pain, and also provide relaxation.

Coastal/Tropical: Coastal and tropical recliners are influenced by styles from overseas, adorned with distinct decorative details such as palm trees, seashells, and pineapples. These pieces are most often constructed of bamboo, rattan, seagrass, wicker, and other woven materials.

Mission/Shaker: Mission furniture is characterized by its simplicity and use of vertical slats and horizontal-vertical lines. Shaker furniture is also very simple, similar to mission without the slats. These styles are almost always constructed of dark woods.

Traditional: Traditional Recliners have rolled or slightly curved arms. These pieces will have traditional details such as nailheads or wood inlay along the base and up the arms, or may have tufted cushions. In general, the feet are wooden blocks and the back of the couch is straight or slightly humped.

Modern/Contemporary: Recliners that have an updated or futuistic look are considered modern or contemporary. Modern and contemporary couches will have straight or track arms with straight lines across the top of the couch. These pieces are very simple, without any no extra padding, sometimes coming in nontraditional shapes and sizes.

Casual: Casually style recliners look overstuffed or fluffy in nature. These will often have pillow top arms, which are fluffy cushions sewn on the top or inside side of the arm and additional pillow top seat cushions that make these couches irresistably comfortable.

Transitional: Transitional recliners are simpler than traditional, but not 100% modern. Featuring soft, but clean lines, without the ornate details of traditional style. Transitional sofas can have rounder features than modern or contemporary recliners, and will fit in with most decor.

Cottage: Cottage style recliners are smaller scale upholstery pieces that are slipcovered or pictured in plaid or floral fabrics.

Rustic/Lodge: Calling to mind log cabins and deep forests, these recliners have a rugged look, often featuring natural woods accents and darker fabrics. The frame may even look like an actual log!
