Real Flame Silverton Gel Fuel Fireplace
Mary from WESTMONT, IL
Fireplace was easy to put together. Important to make sure each piece is firmly connected before going to the next step. Looks very nice when put together. The insert could be better. Mine came with a few chips. You can see the tops of the cans of fuel...which you need to order separately...something not made clear in the description. Over all, quite happy with it.

After researching fireplaces in stores and online, electric vs gel, quality, price, etc., I decided on this one. I am soooo glad I did. This is solid, easy to assemble, beautiful and functional. It fits my décor and definitely adds something to my living room. People that have seen my fireplace guess the price to be significantly higher than what I paid for it and the price was considerably lower than other fireplaces of lesser quality. It arrived on time and in perfect condition. I give it two thumbs way up!!

Love the simple and contemporary straight line design! Easy assembly and good quality (not the greatest ... but good for the price. Looks great in my family room! Everybody loves it!

Love the look of the fireplace in our living room- it matches perfectly with our other stuff. Assembly was very easy, did not take long at all. Only negative is a small gap between mantel and firebox- couldn't figure out if that was supposed to be there.

My wife and I have been wanting a gel fireplace for a long time. When we saw this we had to have it. Assembly was very easy, everything was labeled great. The wood is excellent quality and color. When lit up it looks beautiful, I love the crackling sound and the warmth this gives off....... I strongly recommend this fireplace.

Solid Wood / Great Finish / Poor Workman

The fireplace is overall a great value and I am impressed with the solid Mahogany. It was well packaged and arrived in perfect shape. Unfortunately, the parts did not fit together well - gaps and a poorly fitting insert. I had to "tweak" the assembly and rework some measurements to make the insert fit well.
Pretty, but needs to fit together better

I'm not very happy with the fit of the side pillars and the black top piece that is the under the mantel. The white panel shows thru an area about 3/16's of an inch along the full right side of the board. There was numerous knicks of paint on the mantel, which I had to paint. It seems that the logs are too short to hide the cans of gel while burning. We do think the fireplace is very pretty. and plan on keeping it. I also think that you should provide 3 cans with the fireplace when delivered.
Looks great...if you can assemble it

Arrives in two boxes...firebox in one and solid wood surround components in the other. This kit SHOULD be fairly straightforword to assemble, taking about one hour. Each wooden peice has letters to identify the component. Unfortunately, the numbers on the instructions did not match my pieces. Making the situation worse, my kit had two left side mantle pieces instead of one left and one right. I happen to be handy and was able to cut some scrap wooden pieces, drill the countersunk screw holes, and fabricate a right mantle piece out of a left mantle piece.
