This piece looks great in our bedroom and is just the right size. Its a little smaller than I imagined but thats a good thing. It fits perfectly on the wall, the dark walnut is lovely, and I like the fire effect. My only negative point is on the shelves on the top. Theyre a bit too small for my BD player. But it fits nicely next to the 54 inch flat screen thats at the perfect height for watching in bed.

This piece looks even better in person! I cant tell you just how much everyone who sees it, is stunned with how gorgeous it really is. I needed to buy a larger length media stand to accommodate my new 60 tv, and came across the idea of fireplace media centers. Since I do not have a working fireplace, I was intrigued and began searching for something that would fit the tv and my decor. This unit comes in black and dark walnut, which I chose. It is a deep, rich color. Although it seems very traditional, it meshed with my ecclectic, African Savanna themed room to give the room a majestic presence. The real flame has varying levels of intensity and provides an optimal glow under the tv that doesnt distract from viewing, in fact it adds to the pleasure of watching of tv so much that I find myself distracted from watching the program to watching the fire. I have not had a need as of yet, to turn on the heat for a full evening, but I did initially try it out and it seems to heat up quickly and provide a nice warmth. I arranged the two shelving units with a very small top shelf on either side to hold my cablebox and blue-ray player. By doing so, it gives the impression that the unit was custom made. This is one beautiful piece. On a scale of 1-10, this rates a 100! One downside The remote has a very high-pitch beep that scares my dog to death, so I make sure the dog is out of the room or out of the house before turning it off and on.

Delivery was faster than expected. Originally given a 10-12 day window, it came within 6 days. It was left outside, and I had to bring it in myself, which was a huge challenge---the box containng the unit was heavy. Hint Have two persons available to carry. There was a smaller box that contained the fireplace, which was light. However upon opening the units box and unpacking it, I did find a huge gash in one of the boards, luckily it was on the bottom piece and in the back of unit, which no one will ever see. Since I am time challenged, I hired my friend to put this thing together. It took him about 3 hours to unpack, sort and put it all together. However, it was worth every penny.

My husband, daughter and I put this together today. We were not looking forward to assembling it due to all the negative comments. We did not have one problem assembling this unit. Once together it was all and more that we thought it would be. Some websites said it had a blower and others did not say at all but it does have a blower so we were pleased to find this out.

We placed this nice fireplace in front of our bay window and it is now part of our living room. we plan to use it this winter to add ambience & tranquillity to the room, while we watch the snow coming down. So far, we are satisfied with this product but I thought it was a bit expensive.

Fireplace was delivered in three undamaged boxes by UPS. Took approximatly 1 1/2 hour to assembled. Didn't care much for the asembling instructions.

I just use 1 hour installed by myself, I am not handy person,it is very easy, I do not know why people said it is very hard install? it was scaled me to buy,but i want to try,so so so easy!!!! It is very beautiful color,very good shape. My friends like it too.I would buy again!

I received the product and my 9 year old son helped me put it together. Takes about 1.5 hours to assemble. Instructions are not to bad but good enough to assemble. The fireplace when lit looks very real. The best we have seen. Is also a nice ambience to sit in front of and keep warm. This is a good product. Something that you do not want to move around a lot because it is heavy and the screws may not hold it together. The only thing I would change is how it is put together sturdy but not the sturdiest item I have built. Overall this is a nice product and worth the money.

This was the perfect fit for our new rec room. Husband put it together in about 90 minutes. Pre-drilled holes a bit off, but useable and produces a nice finished product. A little difficult with setting of the fireplace, there was some backlight that would shine through. One shim and it was taken care of. Great color! Shelves are a bit shallow but a good amount for storage. Fireplace sets good ambiance in the room. Worth the money.

Package arrived on time... in 3 large packages which made it easy to haul into the house and down a flight of steps.

Purchased this unit to supply some heat for a newly finished basement. Came in 3 boxes, easy enough to assemble with 2 people and material quality matched my expectations for an imported RTA piece. Took about 2 hours total to assemble. Looks very good once assembled in room, and the 55" flatscreen that I placed on it fits perfectly. The fireplace looks MUCH better in person than it does online. Seems to provide sufficient heat, but the blower fan for the heat is LOUD, even on the "LOW" setting. The TV will normally drown out the blower noise, so I am not too overly concerned, but so much for the "quiet" evening by the "crackling" fireplace. Called the manufacturer, and they were not much help, saying the noise I am hearing is normal, and there was not much I could do to minimize. I will have to see how annoying the fan becomes, and may decide to replace just the firebox with another brand or type. Bottom Line- Great piece of furniture, but wish it was a quieter source of heat.

Even though it took longer to assemble then we thought it would, it did all go together nicely and we are very pleased with it. We really enjoy the electric fireplace and it looks better than the picture displayed it. So we are very happy with this product and have received many compliments on it.
