It seems that every time I try to work on my Mercedes I need some special tool. The cost to buy those tools from Mercedes is prohibitive. The special socket I bought at Wayfair to replace a lower front ball joint was exactly the same as the Mercedes socket. I am very, very impressed with this tool. I had tires installed @ a shop that impacted the lug nuts on to the axle studs. 2 months later when rotating tires nobody was able to remove the lug nuts, causing the entire nut was striped & rounded. The dealer said they would have to torch the rim of my 2008 dodge charger/daytona. If not for the internet & finding Wayfair, I would have spent over $1000.00. Very quick on delivery also.
