This table is really awesome. I wasn’t sure what to expect because there’s not a lot of detailed pictures of the table top itself. But I am pleasantly surprised. It is really a nice feature that the table top has a hidden expander leaf that adds an additional 20 inches to the length. Perfect for holidays, parties and extra elbow room in general. This is a manufactured wood top but I have to say I really like it. The table top comes pre-assembled with the hidden leaf underneath in one piece so all you have to do is attach the legs. My 18-year-old son put it together for us. Opening and closing is really easy the table glides apart without having to shimmy it. The table top itself is a medium to light gray and the base is a dark gray. It’s really a great industrial modern vibe. The most difficult part was figuring out which chairs to order from Wayfair to complete the set. I decided to go with the Jayden dark gray dining chairs by hashtag home with black legs and the Rutilia genuine leather bench by 17 Stories in black - which has some faux distressing. The bench is the perfect length for this amazing table and I can fit three people on one side easily. So I have two chairs on each head of the table 2 chairs on one side and the bench on the other. I've been searching for a table for my breakfast nook, we love our chest we have to keep glasses and bar items in so wanted it to blend with it. I would find a table and then discover it was too large for my breakfast nook. Love this table so much! I couldn't quit looking at it after my husband and I put it together. I thought it was going to take longer to arrive, but once it arrived at the Wayfair warehouse it arrived quickly and a day earlier and the delivery service was great and brought it inside the door and gave us a window of time of when it would arrive. I received lots of email updates so that I didn't get anxious. I didn't think the other photos gave it justice, so wanted to review and share another look at this table. I received the product in a slightly damaged box but the contents were perfect. Also included were extra screws and washers. Assembly was easy and I did it myself. It took a total of 30 min from unboxing to final assembly. There were no written instructions, but illustration only. The table has a metal pedestal stand and base, and seems to be very stable. Instructions are straightforward but assembly took longer than it should have, and here’s why I put the legs together first, and tightened everything until I was pleased with how sturdy it was (as per the instructions). Then, I took the glass tabletop out of the box and went to line up the holes on the legs to to holes on the glass and was distressed to find they did not line up, not even close. So I took a step back, and racked my brain a bit. Here’s what I suggest future buyers do loosely attach the legs to the central box (you’ll understand what I mean when you get the pieces), then tightly attach ONE leg to the glass tabletop. From there, you can move the other loose legs to line up with the holes on the table. Once you have been able to attach the legs tightly to the glass tabletop, go ahead and tighten the legs to the central box. Voilà! ✨ Overall, I am very pleased with the table. It’s the slightest bit wobbly but a small, semi-thick felt pad takes care of the issue. I recommend others to snag it since it’s a great price and looks great in person!. Ashley. This table is beautiful and extremely well made. Assembly is simple, just attach the legs. It is very heavy (I could barely help my husband lift it upright from it's side). I love the color and the style so much. I also love the distressing. The table seems very durable, so I'm not too worried about nicks or dings, however, should they happen in the future (because, kids), I am happy that the distressing will likely make those potential flaws unnoticeable. Delivery was extremely smooth and organized. The delivery guys called as they were on their way, and even offered to bring the package into our dining room.
