The provided instructions weren't helpful but provided a link to full instructions with pictures that you would be mostly lost without. It is structurally stable and spins easily. The one thing we were surprised about were the gaps that are in it. I'm sure it's by design but it makes for opening it very interesting since you are bombarded by trillions of fruit flies. Great for the money."..."  Read more

I'm happy with the this compost bucket overall. No surprises or anything I didn't like in the look or quality, it's pretty much what I expected.

There is no drainage, and it's very shallow. When it rains, it has a tendency to rinse the soil out, and water log the planter. You can't drill drainage holes without having the soil dripping into the barrel, so it's a catch-22 situation. I might just take the plant out, and drill drainage holes, so it doesn't become a mosquito pool. It's a shame, because it looks really nice with the plant in it. I attached an 1 12 sump pump hose to one of the discharge ports on the back, and it's working nicely. I used a drill and made a hole in the port, though I suppose you could cut off 12 an inch of the port if you didn't have a drill or correct sized hole saw. Overall, I'm very happy with it, and glad that I bought it."..."  Read more
