About the Designer
With a brand new magazine, a talk show that aired in the fall of 2006, and a cookbook that has held the coveted #1 spot on the New York Times best seller list, Rachael's ascent is only beginning. Your individual style will be showcased through Rachael Ray's collection of vibrant, practical, and unique cookware. Growing up in a family with deep culinary traditions, Rachael Ray claims that cooking is a way of life that she was simply born into. "Everyone on both sides of my family cooks." Ray was exposed to a wide range of cooking techniques, from her maternal grandfather who grew and cooked everything that his family of 12 needed for sustenance, to her dad's family that was steeped in the food-rich traditions of Louisiana. "I was surrounded by all different styles of cooking and worked in the food service industry in just about every capacity you can imagine." After getting her feet wet in the gourmet world of food at Macy's Marketplace in New York, and after assisting in opening Agata & Valentina, Ray decided that the NYC lifestyle was exciting, but not what she wanted long term, so she moved back to the Adirondacks. Once upstate, Ray turned her job at Cowan & Lobel into a dual position as food buyer and chef, jobs that she loved. As a way to increase grocery sales during the holidays, Ray began a series of cooking classes, which quickly became a happening. The cooking course promising to teach thirty "30-Minute Mediterranean Meals" exploded in popularity and eventually led to a long-term relationship with the Food Network, hosting shows such as "Tasty Travels," "$40 a Day," "Inside Dish," and "30-Minute Meals." "My life has been a total accident -- a very happy, wonderful accident that I didn't and couldn't have planned," says Ray. Despite her growing celebrity she is determined to stay grounded and hold on to her down-to-earth values. Rachael Ray's collection of cookware makes the selection process simple by delivering products to you that offer unique colors, function, and value. The different cookware materials that will be found include hard-anodized aluminum, porcelain enamel nonstick, porcelain enamel cast iron, and commercial nonstick. When you choose Rachael Ray products for your family, you've made an investment for many years to come.

I LOVE the Rachael Ray cookware line! I am truly having a blast with it and I just can't say enough about it. I was a little worried about those open ceramic handles, but they are exceptional! It bakes up nicely and evenly and does just as well in the microwave. I haven't used it in the dishwasher yet, but I can tell you that it washes up cleans up perfectly. It tend to bake and cook a lot of sticky things such as sweet potatoes, baked beans and things like that and it cleans up like a charm. It's very sturdy as well. I accidentally smacked it against the countertop and there wasn't a scratch or chip to be seen. Love it! Love it! Love it!

I make everything from roasts to scalloped potatoes in this casserole dish and I love it. It is attractive and can go from the oven right to the table. If there are leftovers, then tuck it right into the fridge. I love it and feel as though I got a great deal on it here.
Casserole Dish is perfect for Pulled Pork

I bought the Blue one for my husband's birthday and he loved it! Perfect for pulled pork and his famous twinkie desert with Strawberries. I decided that one was not enough and was lucky to find this on sale for a patriotic theme at potlucks. He currently stores his medicine bottles in it and anything else we want out of site on the cabinet. It would make a good cookie jar as well. We LOVE IT!

This casserole dish is very heavy and has been very durable. I have used it quite often and find that I really like the handles when it comes to taking it out of the oven. I have one complaint in that if you don't grease it in some way, whatever you cooked will stick and I end up letting it soak for a little while. I purchased it in red and the color is very attractive.
Where have you been all my life?
Stephanie (The Drama Mama) from Fredericksburg, Va.
I anxiously awaited the arrival of my new casserole, hoping to receive it in time for New Year's Eve dinner. When it arrived, I tore open the box excitedly [...] I was amazed at how light it was, and immediately fell in love with the handles. Oh the ease!!I cooked my family recipe in it for New Years..cheesy goodness mixed with noodles and beef. The shape of the casserole was perfect for creating enough food to feed 9 hungry people, and the high sides meant that it did not bubble over all over my oven. I baked my dish for 30 minutes, as the recipe calls for. It baked evenly all around, smooth, and the cheese melted beautifully across the top. I pulled out the first serving, looking for the cheese strings that should have been there, and weren't. I realized at that moment that the only flaw in my beautiful dish was that I would need to heat things just a little longer. All in all, I am incredibly happy with this. It cleans so easily, and so mess free, I am all smiles. Besides, the feeling of looking like a professional chef to your family in your own kitchen?Priceless.(I received this dish as part of a review opportunity. I have given my honest opinion of this product based on my experience using it).
Size is just right!

Like this casserole dish! Color great, size just right for small pot roast and trimmings or large group casserole or veggie. It's pretty enough to go from oven to table. The shiny smooth surface is easy to clean. A heavy serviceable piece of cookware.

It's actually a little smaller than I imagined, but it's way better for family portions! The red is such a lovely color and I absolutely love the design. The top won't be easily knocked off, which is great for a klutz like me!
Great product, I am well pleased.
