First, I had a hard time troubleshooting the an issue I had with the down light turning off, or not coming on. The culprit is the Government regulated watt limiter. I remedied the issue by replacing the halogen bulb that shipped with the fan, and installing instead an LED bulb. Problem solved. The only other negative on this fan are the instructions. They aren't very clear, sometimes they are just wrong, and they often make a lot of assumptions about the installers level of expertise. All that said, the fan is hung, installed, functional and beautiful. Perhaps my favorite part of my newly remodeled living room!"..."  Read more

I finally just bit the bullet and did it, and am I ever glad I did. The quality is excellent and the fan is beautiful. Installation was fairly basic.
