Sleek and Stunning

My husband and I wanted something a little different for our beach cottage great room. We found this fan and fell in love with the sleek modern design. After installation, the builder of our new home came back to see how we were doing and when he stepped into our great room, he immediately said "Wow… what a cool fan! Where did you find that?" We love it and it is quiet while we're watching t.v. too! Our only concern: When the electrician was installing it, he warned us about the light bulb that is included. It does not have a typical light bulb. It has a two prong bulb that contains Mercury! He said he would be VERY careful when changing the bulb and don't drop it or let it break. We're hoping we don't have to change the bulb often. Not even sure where I would go to buy a replacement bulb. That's why it doesn't get the full 5 stars.
Quiet, moves air well

The fan is beautiful. It is well-balanced and does not wobble at all even on the highest speed. The blades are large and really push air. It is almost perfect. The only feature I don't like is the blunt CFL bulb that comes with it. Because of the size, you can't replace it with an LED bulb (at least now). Also, the light cover is a bit opaque we took off the cover to get more light out of the bulb. If they would make it with a more sizeable space for a bulb or even a small but standard size LED bulb, it would be better. Outside of the bulb size, it's a great fan. It's also quite energy efficient, which took forever to figure out online. Most ceiling fans are energy hogs, but this pushes a huge amount of air for the wattage used.
