In fact, I'm happy we put them on a dimmer switch. The kitchen, with it's white cabinets and wainscoting, was leaning into cottage-cute, but the pendants are contemporary enough to offset the cuteness, while maintaining a welcoming feel. They are against a dark blue wall and super attractive. We put them on dimmers which gives us a lot of flexibility. It is our primary light source over our countertop-height kitchen table (small table) and there is certainly enough light. We have it on a dimmer (which I highly recommend).
