The grout-like material between the tiles is much more evident in person than on the picture, so it looks a bit more sloppily constructed. Some of that was less evident when mounted on the ceiling and there is some distance between the viewer and the fixture, but I still notice it (though no one else does). Be aware that the tiles have a very pearly sheen and seashell nacre-like look. From the picture, I was expecting the tiles to look more like cut stone, like calcite. It is not unattractive, but it did not work in the room for which it was intended. It worked better as bathroom fixture, which is where it was eventually installed. Lastly, it doesn't cast a lot of light.

This light is absolutely gorgeous. It is well made and looks great. The ONLY drawback is that it does not put out a really bright light because the glass is fairly thick. I installed two in a room that has 8 additional can lights, so it gives a beautiful glow and color to the room. We turn up the can lights when we want it to be bright. I would not recommend it for a place that needs bright light, like in a kitchen. As an accent light, especially with other lights, it is a beautiful addition, gives a nice warm glow to a room, and is like a nice piece of art.

The shipment was fast, it arrived in good condition, and customer service was VERY helpful. I had never ordered from this company before and I was a little leery. Priscilla in customer service answered my questions, gave me some good guidance, and actually personally followed up by email. It was great to have the help of a friendly human being who knew their business. I will definitely buy from these folks again.

The colors are wonderful. Also bought the hanging fixture for over a bistro table in the breakfast nook. [...] Did not install it myself so I don't know how helpful the instructions might be.

I am very pleased with this fixture. It replaced a rather plain fixture over a kitchen table. The colors when the fixture is on are just WOW.
