As usual, my Wayfair order arrived within just a couple of days with regular updates on the status of my order. The instructions were simple. I have had some experience with lighting so installation was a breeze. I did have to shorten the cord by about a foot or so. I LOVE the warm glow they add to the kitchen! We love it. Good price for what it is. The black chord is just that. It’s a bendable chord. So take it out of the box and let it lay out to “unbend”. Once it’s hung up for a day it straightens out. Pretty and fun fixture. Not sure why other reviewers weren't able to get the shades all the way in properly. Our electrician had no problem. Shadow makes a neat pattern on the ceiling when the lights are on. Reasons for 4 stars is that the cords didn't straight out very well. Hopefully over time with gravity they will, but not holding my breath because theres not much weight to help out with that. Also 4 stars because a few of the shades hang slightly crooked, but its only noticeable when walking up the stairs if you're staring at the fixture...no one would notice but us probably.
