An earlier comment suggested it lacked sufficient brightness, but that's quite misleading. Even with just two 40-watt bulbs, this lamp is perfect for reading. The heavy etched-glass shade is especially impressive and gives the lamp an authentic early 20th-century look. A sophisticated alternative to all the ersatz tiffany lamps currently available.
