Puppets

I bought this puppet to use in our Church children's assembly. In high school, I participated with my church puppet troupe and went to several national competitions. The design and build on this puppet are great. However, I find the hand space in the head is too small for any long-term use by an adult. Usually, at the end of fifteen minutes, my hand is cramped. We did a multi-hour event and by the time I was done, I had blisters on my knuckles from the tightness of the puppet. Other than that, this is a great entry-level puppet. They also produce a larger model where the legs are removable and entry is from the bottom, for stage use. I wish that model had a dual entry so I could use it with a back-entry like this one. We bought this puppet and others for our 4 year old daughter to go with the Melissa & Doug puppet theater. We LOVE the theater and all the puppets that go along with it! When I first got the puppet, at first I was a bit disapointed of the size of the box... I was like "Oh no it's a tiny little rip off puppet!" but then I opened it and saw the neat little puppet nicley folded up all inside the box. lol I love the little puppet. I use him for the web videos we make for the Haunted House that I work for. We named him Stan Stitches. I would really love to add some for puppet cast members... well that is if I find any good deals on any more good puppets. :)"..."  Read more
